4 Steps To Making An Excellent Push Broom...
1) Maple hardwood blocks
All ETC push brooms have quality maple hardwood blocks for long life and
less possibility of warping or splintering. 2) Two-handle holes
As the fiber wears down from sweeping one-way, the handle can be moved to
the second hole to reverse the sweeping action and obtain maximum life from
the fiber.
Should a handle break inside one handle hole, the other can be used - the
same applies
should a threaded hole strip or wear down. 3) Staple-set bristles
The bristles are stapled into the block to prevent loss of fiber even under the
most
demanding situations. For maximum effectiveness, any push broom should be
stored
off the floor to keep the bristles upright. 4) PVC fiber
All ETC push brooms are filled with PVC fiber which is oil and solvent
resistant,
unaffected by moisture, and is provided in a variety of gauges for all types
of applications.
PVC also has excellent recovery following even the most prolonged use.
